Just Want to shout out a BIG Thank You To Marcie Selby and Selby Entertainment for an outstanding Job at my Wedding. Marcie worked so close and one on one with me for days in advance to make sure everything was exactly the way I wanted it and the DJ (Jody) handled the entire Wedding as though he had done it all of his life. Very professional and at the best rate I found in Houston. At first the low rate did scare me but I am so glad I chose this company. I no longer have to look for DJ companies in the future. I wanted to drop a quick line and say once again THANK YOU!!! The music you provided on Saturday night for my husbands 50th surprise party was more than what I could have ever anticipated. Every single song that was requested was played. And I will honestly tell you, I was in shock when the song that played at our wedding 13 years ago was also played (and wasn’t even on my request list)!! You offer a HUGE variety of music that kept everyone upbeat and many on the dance floor……….

I cannot figure out how to leave a review on Gigmasters. But place this where you'd like :] I left a review on Wedding Wire. I cannot thank you guys enough, everything was PERFECT!
Words cannot express how many times I would love to thank Joseph and Selby Entertainment.
The instructions on the form were a little confusing so it wasn't clear that I wanted them to play the music for my ceremony. THANKFULLY Joseph was reassuring and told me it was no big deal and he would take care of it. And he did, PERFECTLY!
Joseph was nice enough to even go find my grandparents so they could walk into the reception, I think they got lost haha
The night ran so smoothly, and I cannot thank Joseph enough for all that he did for us. The music was perfect, the volume was perfect - those who didn't want to dance were still able to chat. Everyone seemed to have a real good time, I even got a lot of compliments that it was the best wedding they had been to!! He directed everything perfectly, even when he was packing up he was able to make an announcement that the guests were to blow bubbles and wait for the couple to leave.
Thank you Selby Entertainment, Marcie and most of all: Joseph for everything. You truly made my wedding the best night ever, I couldn't have done it without you!!!

You guys (Amanda Knox to be exact) played our wedding in Splendora, TX on St. Patrick's Day 2011. I just wanted to take this time to write you and let you know how great of a job she did! She got all of our main songs right and engaged wonderfully with the children and guests. Her music management really made the whole event and we can't express how cool it was to find such a great DJ company, so affordable, local and professional.
It was such a load off my mind, as a bride to be, to have her call ME a week before to sort the details and to keep such great communication. Not to mention any time I had a question, I was able to email you and got a prompt answer, which is always awesome.
I've already posted a praise on Decido (which is how I found you guys in the first place, studied the reviews, etc) and I justed wanted to take the time to personally let you know how great you guys are doing! Marcie & Jody Selby went way out of their way to make my wedding a huge success and exactly what we wanted! Marcie handled all the details beautifully on the front end, including finding a discontinued karaoke version of one of our favorite songs, and Jody did a fantastic job as our Karaoke DJ. Angela was GREAT!! She was very friendly, warm, outgoing, and funny!! She really got the guests involved in dancing and Karaoke, and spent alot of time with the children who were attending the reception party. The DJ (Terry) was really nice and professional. He got to the venue really early and was actually all set up before my maid of honor and i even got there to start getting ready for the wedding. Vanessa was very professional and accomodating, she handled our requests as well as our annoucements for our corporate picnic extremely well. She knew how to keep her audience involved. One malfunction-the TV monitor for the Karaoke did not work and the DJ worked around it. Besides that it was very good. We had the DJ (Vanessa) set up in backyard and kids gathered in the house. Vanessa went into the house to get them out there to participate. By the end of the evening the Karaoke was the hit and all kids were jammed around the DJ Table.

I would like to give Marcie and Jodi Selby of Selby Entertainment a highly recommended evaluation, these guys were both professional and highly accomodating to the needs of both my bride and myself. They handled the whole reception to above any standard that I had estimated, and I have DJ'ed at a few weddings for my family and friends myself. We have had our 4th of July party for 8 years. This was the first year we had a DJ played that was GREAT. They were extremely friendly, they played great music, they were easy to work with, were early to setup, had a huge variety of karoke for people to sing and stayed to make sure everyone had a great time. It was a great success due to Selby Entertainment - I would recommend them highly - but not at 4th of July next year - they will be with us!

Our party was a huge hit and it was mostly due to the karaoke. The DJ's were great about taking requests from the guests. I would definetly use them again for our next party. Thanks again!

The performer was accomodating and did everything that was asked of him. He had a great selection of Halloween music that got the crowd into the spirit of the occasion. He worked non-stop through the evening and there were no breaks in the action. He was good at moving between DJ music and karaoke at the request of the audience.

Angela was GREAT!! She was very friendly, warm, outgoing, and funny!! She really got the guests involved in dancing and Karaoke, and spent alot of time with the children who were attending the reception party. She made sure that all of the songs we wanted were played, and she followed all of my notes perfectly. We had a great time, and the time flew by so quick. Afterwards, she even stood by and chatted with us, it was amazing. I was assuming most people would just take their money and leave after the event, but not her, she was very sweet!!
